CORE is a new production directed by Patrick Chikoloma, one of Circus Zambia's own. The show brings together circus artistry and the spirit of African heritage — fire, movement, and physical storytelling performed by a company that has spent a decade training some of Lusaka's most talented young performers.
Opening night on Friday 27 February includes drinks, light snacks, and a Q&A with the director. The run continues through the first week of March, with afternoon and evening shows across most weekends.
This is Circus Zambia's tenth year, and CORE reflects the range and ambition the company has built since it started in a compound in Chibolya. It is worth seeing.
